Sorry, but I'm a little confused. What isn't working and how is it not working? But I can certainly tell you that TheKing.exe will not work in any other version of Chessmaster, nor will it work (properly) outside of Chessmaster 8000. It WILL play perfectly LEGAL chess within WinBoard, but it only searches for one cycle (approximately 1K positions) and then returns a legal move. Obviously, this won't be very good chess. jm
