Pls post here. > >Bye and stay fair >Ingo Bauer I think that people rated 1500 who play 5 0 with computers are unlikely to be cheaters. It's hard to play 5 0 manually. It's pretty easy to spot them when they do, but I think that someone who has only been running a computer account for a few days probably has a better than 50% mistake ratio. Some players know a reasonable amount about openings. And people rated 1200-1800 on ICC aren't necessary rated 1200-1800 in real life. I was rated 2020 or so in real life (USCF) and about 1750 on ICC, for example. I can play 15 or 20 moves of Ruy Lopez or various Sicilians but I'll still make mistakes in the middlegame. Which it sounds like is exactly what you are seeing. bruce
