But had heard two other things recently: 1. 900mhz versions only come in the 2mb L2 cache versions. This is going to hold their price above $3,000 forever. Too pricey. 2. 900mhz parts are not yet shipping according to an Intel VAR I talked to recently. These will apparently work in my SC450NX chassis, as they will work with 100mhz and 133mhz bus speeds (my SC is 100mhz). But I would not consider buying them at that price... And there are _no_ plans to make a 1mb 900mhz xeon at all, which means no $1,000 cpus period. It's a shame...
