Dear Steve:
I know that this goes against the correct, actual, discourse, the
democratic hoopla that seems to think that anything can be wrong if a
lot of people vote for this or that according to questions or candidates
or alternatives. And that's fine in the area of political issues
concerning a whole society, but not here. The essence of tbeing part of
this kind of group is NOT TO BE SILENT, inasmuch as nobody forbid
personal expressions if they are decently worded. Just as in a society
only citizens has a right to vote, here, in this group, only those that
gives his opinions are real citizens and has a right to anything. And
this is not "elitism"; anybody is in capacity to say what he thinks,
anybody becomes automatically a member of this little society provided
he say something. Maybe an humble member, perhaps, as myself, with not
too much to say really fruitfull, but a member. Here to say is to vote
and to stay silent is not to be here as a real member, but only as an
observer.
Then, gto give the so called silent members an opportunity to influence
the course or shape of CCC in any way is so absurd as to give people
from Russia the right to vote about the budget in Arizona. It will
happens that precisely those that does not give nothing because lack of
interest, lack of ideas or lack of bowells to face criticism will, in
the end, handle by sheernumerical weight the destiny of thiis site.
No Steve, it seems a good idea but is not a logical one and what is not
logical is not good and has not the righ to be. So confusio said.... :-)
