The last conversations were here at this board. Peter Skinner says he sent the computer and it was signed for. Pete Galati says he never signed for any computer and he don't have it. The last time the subject came up here it seemed and still seems simple to simply post the receipt on a website. >3. Why does he feel the need to air a personal grievance on a public board? >Possibly to embarrass Peter. I don't know. I think if any of us was in Pete Galati's position we would feel the need to grieve whenever we saw a post from the person who we felt had treated us unfairly. Also as I recall (though I could be wrong) Peter Skinner made this for sale computer offer here at CCC. >I think that both Pete and Peter are not giving the whole story, as I feel there >has to be more involved. I do not believe that Peter would rip Galati off. I do >not know much about Galati to inform a good opinion about him as I have only >seen him attack me, and Peter. Well I have had an argument with Pete Galati but that says nothing of him being a person in good standing and of a good reputation. Since I started coming to CCC I can honestly say IMO Pete Galati is no trouble maker. And I, like I'm sure most of the regular posters here have a very good opinion of him. >I have really nothing to do with this, just as no one here on this board has >anything to do with it. This is a personal fight being aired on a public board. > >Galati should do what I said and email Peter, or just plain be quiet about it. > >Is it really any of anybody's business other than the two parties involved? I equally have nothing to do with it, except for the fact that I see Pete Galati as getting the short end of the stick. It is so so easy to simply post a copy of the receipt and end forever this whole issue. Can't you as a friend of Peter Skinner's just ask him to post a copy on a website? it is really such an easy thing. And once done Peter's Skinner's standing as an honest individual would go up. Were I in your position and the shoes were reversed, I would myself make every effort to prove my friend right, even were my friend upset at the whole situation that had developed. I like I'm sure most of the others that have read this saga since it's beginning would like to see it end, but I'm also certain that most would like to see it end in a positive light. Sarah.
