If you are not on best terms with your amd dealer maby you can get a friend to make the purchase for you? or maby you can order from an other country using a credit card? or mail order by check? The price of a T-bird 1.2ghz (here in denmark) is about 200$ and the p3 is about 190$ You also have to take into consideration that you will need a new motherboard, whether you choose to go with amd or pentium.
