Ok, I fed Crafty 18.6 the position, gave it 1 second per side to move (it's a
tablebase, it should need no more time) and it mated in 16. HOWEVER, as you can
see, it took Fritz 33 moves to mate! Using the _same_ tablebase directory,
using the _same_ tablebases!
Which leads me to believe, that yeah, it's a Fritz problem. However Johans said
he's Fritz mated perfectly. I have 6e, the most up to date version. So I have
not a CLUE what is going on here. Perhaps I will re-install Fritz, and see if
that helps.
And like I said, I have EVERY SINGLE tablebase that Hyatt has on his FTP server.
From 3-5 I have the complete set. NONE ARE MISSING.
Thanks to all that helped. My Fritz just has no endgame.
