It has been my experience that when Chessbase says two weeks, it's two weeks. Just something I've noticed. Also, Ed said in a previous post that the upgrade would go gold if no new problems were found in the beta this week. Therefore, I would venture to say, Rebel users will have one week to upgrade over the net, before the masses get it through Chessbase. And yes, as it seems, Chessbase has become the Microsoft of chess computing. Not that it's a bad thing, but I've tried to get support from Chessbase before, and let's just say, I was not impressed. Oh well. I guess we can all expect that "official" statement from Ed and Christophe soon. Should be interesting. :) Slate
