hi joshua lee, this was not the position that caused this crash. it was your system. if you set up any test position in your system, and let it search for some length of time, you will get a windows error.(since now we know yours is doing this) set this up again. run fritz until it crashes. close the small error window. when this small window closes you should get another small window. dont close this one. click on details in this small window. now you will get "fritz caused an invalid page fault in module mfc42.dll. so what does all this mean, and what is causing this. good luck, i tried lots of fixes, a motherboard change fixed mine. xracer
