Thanks for the tip, but I meant someting else (which obviously is somewhat difficult to explain for me): I meant that Chessmaster itself, or the engine respectively, utilises the database information from the Tasc Base for it's own (the computers) opening - in addition to (or alternatively to) the moves from the .obk file. The program could either use this info like a book (in this case, special "reliable" game collections would have to be used probably), or just use the percentage of the moves the database provides, to combine this info with the evaluation CM calculates, as soon as being out of the .obk-book. I'm not sure, but I think that Rebel Century has a similar feature, using CAP data during the game (or something like this). I am probably not the man to explain this idea better, partially because of language limitations. Just an idea. Regards, M.Scheidl
