1.how many program releases have happened after mephisto took over fidelity
with the spracklen ?

2.how many program releases have happened after ossi weiner bought hiarcs?

3.how many program releases have happened after chessbase bought hiarcs ?

and - in opposite: how many times have ossi and richard won championships ?
how many times has stefan and ossi, or marty hirsch, succesful developed their
programs ?!

there you have the answers...

1: NONE !
2: Nothing. ossi took over hiarcs, the concurrent program of genius, and no
further development has happened. the programs were in stocks , and units never
sold.
3: NOTHING, chessbase bought hiarcs and no further development happened.

none, nothing, nothing.

nada !

and on the other hand, far from chessbase, you have strong mchess versions,
strong hiarcs version, strong gambit-tiger, strong rebel, strong whatever.
shredder, and and and.

there you have chessbase making nearly NO progress at all. and on the other hand
you have success. winning championship titles far from chessbase.

don't you see this ?

>What happened to mchess or to cstal?

marty was betrayed by mr. stamer (eurochess) and ossi tried to help him,
but it was maybe to late.
marty had to give up programming because he has to finance his live.
maybe he also get rid of all these people in the scene ? disapointed ?

cstal ? chris sold his company for much money, and is maybe the richest
chess programmer in the world. he never had a title. only an innovating ches
program, chessbase wanted to buy too. but never got it. you cannot buy
anyone in the world.
:-))

>There is also not a new version of these programs in the last years.

right. thats true.

or that people took over their programs although having no interest in selling
them.

>I prefer to see every engine to be an engine for every interface.

aha. thats your wish. mine is different. i want to see different programs.

>Tiger is engine for Chessbase is good news.
>If chessbase makes Fritz to be an engine for Rebel then it will be also good

pah.
