yes. like microsoft. highly innovative.
how long does it take for a 286 to boot windows 3.11?
and how long does it take for a 486 to boot windows 95?
and how long does it take for a pentium200 to boot win98
and how long does it take for a pentium3/700 to boot win NT ?
and ...

do you get a picture of a higly innovative company ?
what happens when your windows crashes , you cannot rescue it, do you have to
install all your chess programs again when you have installed a fresh windows
from the scratch ?
and ? does it make fun ?
Do you believe that an operating system in the 21.century needs to be
shut down for any change that has been made ?
microsoft is a pain.
its completely nuts, and though we all use it, cause we have no choice.

this is innovative.
this is the future, the progress, the sense of life, to boot an operating
system, to install the OS over and over again, to reinstall applications
over and over again, to boot the machine over and over again, to watch
the blue screens appear ... thats 21.century innovation.

and chessbase is on the way to become a 2nd microsoft company ! hip hip horray !

this will be a brave new world. 1984 ? 2001 !! aahhhh!
