Hi Bertil,

Actually Enrique was blamed for the stuff he'd written, and was not attacked ad
hominem (at least that's how I saw Thorsten's postings).  Anyway, I do agree
with you that some long-standing members, such as Thorsten, have unofficially
been granted a bit of leeway here.  He _is_ quite a character, with quite a
penetrating insight at times and it would be a pity not to have him around.

As for the assault on Enrique's writing on comp chess, I trust that he can
defend himself quite well, if necessary.  As things stand, I don't think he will
react:  what Thorsten said was simply too feeble to withstand any sustained
rebuttal... in other words, Thorsten's been producing lots of hot air only :-)
