I remember paying Dfl 600 or so for it, at current rate some $250. If you don't have support, end anything goes wrong with your board, you have to shop around extensively, with the guarantee of success. I have my doubts. >Questions: >* Is the disscontinued TASC products still to be considered a great product, >(Especially at the above prices),as compared to the DGT Board? > >* I know the board works with Chessica & and Mephisto, as well as the Woodan >TASC module. I received quite some mail from people who play on ICC with the board. Especially the no-support-anymore makes me shiver with those prices. It's worth the technology, but no bargain for sure. Reconsider the DGT -board My *personal* opinion is that the DGT-board (hooked up with the DGT TopMatch clock) is a beautiful set, and I'm very satisfied with DGT support (guarantee, drivers and updates etc.) J.
