I remember seeing one of those things in a store window in
Sydney. It was set up and going, the pieces reset themselves after
each game. A collector's item now. If it breaks down you won't get
  it fixed AFAIK.
On the subject of old tabletops, the one that intrigued me most
was a Scysis, with a little crane lifting and moving the pieces.
The guy that owns it should try to auction it at ebay.
