Hi, >I do not disagree, but my post was about the increase in playing strength from a >dual system. This is right, but I think for engine-engine matches good enough. I hope mutch other programmer will not read this but this is my opinion. 4-pieces = ~ 20 ELO more ! 5-pieces = ~ 40 ELO more ! In my opinion not for all programs, I hope Ed will not see this or we have a big problem (I have a problem) :-) >Of course 5-men TBs are going to produce much more TBs hits, and much more work >for the hardisk. There are AMD processors running faster than >1.3GHz, so your dual 733MHz is already worse than a fast single processor AMD. I disagree not (a super superb English) :-) The most programs works faster on a Intel system, not on a AMD system. But OK we say its the same :-) >>And ... >>Do you have see an engine-engine match on a dual system ? >>It`s fantastic to see current analyzes from 2 engines. >> >>I have more fun with my dual system. >>Come time come Deep Gambit Tiger :-)) > > >Next Monday Gambit Tiger 2.0 will find its way to your dual. :) And the way into my CCE tourney :-) I play with Gambit-Tiger a CCE tourney "A" extra round ! > Christophe Best Frank
