Lately I visited: http://www.3bsoftware.com/ and decided to try their software. Result: It has to be admitted, my PC runs faster than ever, my chess programs search more nodes in less time, the search/eval benchmarks increased considerably BUT... My hard disk has became 2 gigs while I used to have 8 gigs because my hard disk now has partitions and I don't know what is going on in the other hard-disk partitions ? What is running in the background ? Trojans ? My question is: Is it posssible that the inactive partitions (those partions that do not contain Windows) contain software or maybe Trojans ? How can I delete the inactive partitions and restore my hard disk to 8 gigs ? If I format my hard disk, all my chess programs will be gone. Pete
