Datacomp is one of the programs you can also download from Bob's tb dirs. The following is from a conversation between Dieter Buerssner and yours truly, message 152363: ******************************************************************************* >This is the quick integrity check: > >datacomp t filename > >The filename extension has to be lowercase if I remember correctly, so >a dos batch file with a 'for' loop doesn't work unfortunately. You are right. A simple workaround may be to type at the DOS prompt in the TB directory for %tb in (*.emd) do echo datacomp t %tb >> checkall.bat and then substitute all "EMD" with "emd >> report.txt" in checkall.bat with an editor, and after this run the batch. After this read report.txt. ******************************************************************************* Hope this is of some use to you ... Groetjes, Paul
