I don't make up numbers.  go to www.pricewatch.com, first click on motherboards,
then dual, and you will find them starting at 80 bucks.  Then go back a level,
click on processors, then PIII/1ghz, and you will find them starting at just
over 200 bucks.  The bare MB for a single cpu machine is going to cost about
50 bucks.  The dual adds another 30.  The first cpu you have to buy for _both_
but the dual needs another 200 bucks for the second cpu.

No made up numbers at all.  Those are not university prices.  They are available
over the internet to anyone with a credit card and valid address to ship to...

pricewatch.com is a great place... I find vendors for almost _everything_ I want
there.

Note that pricewatch doesn't sell things.  They simply offer prices that are
available at major suppliers...
