Tiger and Shredder I agree. Seems these two playing each other run ok.
Tiger and Tiger is not ok, nor Tiger with Chessbase.

Not that many. From what I have found it depends on what two programs
are playing but even in my worst case whish is Tiger v Tiger in CP interface
it's maybe 15%.

Typically from the aborted games I have seen by all programs, there is no
standard point of abort. Sometimes winning, sometimes losing, sometimes straight
out of book other times during an endgame.
