Yesterday I started to sort all the moves selected by the web participating against Gambit Tiger II and I realized that some of the people who did not choose the most selected move might be filling a little dissapointed. In reality you can miss the first two most selected moves and if you guess the other 5 untill next Wenesday, you would have a very good chance of being the person selected with the highest percentage of most selected move chosen by the web for that week. Last week the person with the highest percentage of most selected moves by the Web was Terry, but unfortunately the weekly prize offered by Mr Schroder was not offered during that week. For those that have a least three good programs, the best way to select the move that might have the best chance of being the one selected by the majority, would be to let each program calculate at least for a minimum of 4 hours each, once they are all out of their opening book line. I have done different tests with different positions in the middlegame and realized tha Deep Fritz and Fritz 6e almost always select the same move, but if you have either of these programs plus Shredder 5 and any other good programs such as Deep Junior, Nimzo8 or Rebel Century, by simply letting three good programs analyze the given position for at least 4 hours you will end up with two programs agreeing by selecting the same move and one of them dissagreeing. Good luck against Gambit Tiger II. PS: There will also be a surprise overall prize for the person with the highest percentage of the most selected move for the entire game to be announce by Mr Schroder later on. http://www.rebel.nl/gt2-web.htm Pichard.
