You are forgetting 1 important detail. The maximum hash table of the Hiarcs Mac is 256 Kb. This is a far cry from the 64Mb of hash tables that was used by the PC Hiarcs 6 against IM deen Hergott. I believe that the difference in hash sizes would completely make up for the present difference in architecture speed.
