I've noticed, that the book directory contains german and french language
versions of the Mentor.obk, containing the opening annotations in these
languages! IIRC, the manual doesn't mention these files.

I was able to utilize MentorGerman.obk by copying, and renaming it to
Reference.obk (after deleting the previous english Reference.obk). Now, it's
used by CM8K in the library room. No problems; the translation of the comments
is good IMO.

But I have seen, that the file size is only about 2/3 of the original
Mentor.obk. Is there any downside of using MentorGerman, are there variations or
comments missing or something?

Maybe you should mention these Mentor books on the CM website, because I think
this is a very useful feature which shouldn't go unnoticed by french and german
speaking customers.
