The distance between the black knight and e7 is 3 knight moves and the distance between the black knight and e8 is 4 knight moves so it is clear that the pawn cannot be stopped by the knight. Program with the right knowledge can evaluate the position after 34...Kh8 as better for white by static evaluation because the black queen can at the best case do perpetual check and the black knight is not close to the enough to the white king. I do not know if there are programs with the right knowledge. Uri
