That is the proper way to get Chessmaster's analysis of the position. If you
want a DIFFERENT personality's analysis, then just make that personality play
BOTH sides of the game, and choose the Infinite time control. You can then check
the White or Black checkboxes in the Thinking Lines window (but NOT BOTH -- as
this will run two different engines with the same personality!), and switch back
and forth depending on whose side to move it is.

If you want the engine on the move to make its move, just use "Force Move"
(CTRL+F), and the move will be made immediately. If you want to make a DIFFERENT
move (that is not the next move in the move list), then you need to change the
player to be human, make the move, and then change the player back to the
computer player.
