This is insanity, Vincent.  It's like watching a river rise during a flood and
saying, "someone must have really had to pee upstream".  Maybe someone peed in
the river, but this is completely swamped by more important stuff, like a huge
rainstorm.

I think it's utter nonsense to chart a stock's growth over a period of weeks in
a bull market and say that the reason is due to something trivial like a chess
tournament result.

I can't state it too strongly.  It's just craziness that has to have been
started by people who don't have the first clue about stocks.
