Regards, >Laurence Hello Laurence, I don't disagree with anything above but you still have not made clear what it is that Fritz will do that Tiger will not. For instance, when you analyze with Tiger it gives you an eval of the position just like Fritz. It does not give you multiple PV's like Fritz. When you reach a 5 man endgame where you have tablebases Tiger gives you the distance to mate or a draw score same as Fritz but again not multiple scores. There is no analysis done by either program at this point. With Tiger if you want to know the score of any move all you have to do is make it and see the resulting score. I still do not understand what Fritz gives you in analysis that Tiger does not because of a bug. Can you give me an example? Regards, Jim
