Windows ME is rather buggy. And it has no real features that make it an improvement over Win98 in my opinion. You might have to monkey with one of the dll files to get Chessbase programs to work in ME, Steve Lopez goes over that in his T-Notes somewhere. I didn't originally have a problem with Chessbase programs and ME, but somewhere along the lines I developed a problem I still haven't managed to debug yet where if I use Junior, I pretty much need to reboot before I use Netscape. My interpretation of that is that it's an ME conflict. In my opinion Windows98 is a vast improvement over 95, because 98 is more stabile, but there's no way in the world I would upgrade from 98 to ME, even though I've only seen one program I couldn't run in ME (not a Chess program).
