I disagree with the "wears out the CD" argument.
I FULLY support the "Refuelling" principal (once a month, every 10 usages or so)
to prove I still possess the Program.
I support having a CD in to save space on my HardDrive (data bases, Endgame
tables, opening books etc).
Where I do have a PROBLEM, is when I need the CD in for all the programs
simultaneously running in WindowS:
These two chess programs are playing each other while;
I am driving a Colin Mcrea Ford Focus through Sweden while;
Jesus&MaryChain plays Music at 800db's while;
The Monopoly game awaits my return when I need to relax from the drive
while....
BUT I only have one CD ROM drive, and on some of these programs if I remove the
CD while in the program "BDinggggg" "This program has.....".
So I say: Yes to "refuelling", no to "Required to be in".
Just my 2c worth
