The only set where CM8000 did better than CM5000 was set 19. 1.e4 c5 2Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Bc4 e6 7.0-0 b5 8.Bb3 Bb7 9.Re1 Be7?!. White to move. Solution 10 Bxe6!, sacrificing the bishop for three pawns. This is not quite enough material compensation for a bishop in the early part of the game, but here black's king is denuded, so the sacrifice is fully justified. CM8000 got 1 point, CM5000 got 0 points. Overall CM5000 got 81 points for the 25 sets. CM8000 got 75 points. To get the the estimated USCF rating multiply the test score by 8 and add it to 2000 (for British ratings, add 1900, for Swedish add 1800).
