I think you are correct that Fide has no interest at all in seeing if
any computer program can earn a GM norm. So it is hard to judge when we
have a GM class micro computer program. I think for sure the top program
could earn a IM title if given the chance, but how close do you think
they are for earning a GM title if given the chance?
