I dont think Fritz 5 is a great closed position program. So I would
guess yes.
The trade off is that it is hard to beat fritz in a closed postion. So
you can draw it, but Fritz will not try to force open the position in a
bad way. So the computer busters I have been playing still have not been
able to beat the program yet. But it is a bit easyer to lock the
position and draw fritz 5.
