For the machine that the SSDF is testing CM8000 with (K6-2 450), 32MB is more
than enough for tournament time controls. Actually, Johan used a slightly faster
machine at the Dutch computer chess championship and only used a 15MB hash
table.

Unless you are going to be doing lengthy analysis, or have a VERY fast machine
with a long time control, you should never need more than a 32MB hash table.
