The opening book format has a maximum of 65K moves. Most of the books that were
put up onto the website are very close to the maximum. But, hopefully, the next
version will eliminate the limit (or make it reasonably huge).

32MB is way too much, especially for your processor. 2MB is enough. However, the
next (and final) patch will fix the problem of using too large a hash table, so
you will be able to use any size that you want -- although allocating too much
memory might slow down Windows, and therefore everything....
