You could probably set it to 8MB without any decrease in play strength. Also, since the machine only has 64MB of RAM, running Chessmaster PLUS the engine with a 16MB hash table MIGHT cause some thrashing, depending on what other programs are running. Therefore, I suggest that you consider an 8MB hash table for that time control and that hardware. jm p.s. How, EXACTLY, have you set up the connection (hardware and software) between the two computers/programs? Just curious....
