Hi John. 16Mg seems fine as CM is holding it's own very well. (no obvious thrashing so far ) Oh I forgot to say that I have set "permanent brain" / pondering to ON too. I'll publish every 10 games. re: how to play 2 comps I download winboard232b from.... http://amateurschach.in-trier.de/schach/download/autoplayer/boerger_eng.htm You set this as a winboard engine in CM8K ( named in this occasion Fritz 6) with paramters -noextend In Fritz - Connect Harwdware Auto232... I set up a new personality in CM8K with the 16mg transposition table. In the game room New game with players Chessmaster Max ( my personality ) and Fritz 6 ( winboard232b.exe ) Works very well indeed. Cheers Scott
