Thank you both. I will move this discussion to e-mail. but for now I looked up
on my older comp where fritz6 is also installed. I find the path as:
program files\chessbase\books\fritz6.cbh
Also I find a bunch of "autosave.xxx" and "autosave.ini" files located in:
"my Documents\chessBase\compbase:
In my new computer where the problem is, the above path is there but "compbase"
is empty. When I try "find" in D drive I cannot find any of the aforementioned
files
For example also when i do a find "autosave.* no files are found in C or D.

Not necessary to state this, but my Fritz6 CD is an original.

You both have given me some thought and I am going to uninstall and re-install
again fritz6.cbh tomorrow and see if in fact the fritz6.cbh is on my hard drive
or am I getting it from my cd as suggested as a possibility.
Get back to ya, via e-mail if that is ok and Thank you.

Wayne
