Hello

Your first Problem is allready known at chessbase. Within my W2000 ist is only 1
or two percent of all available time. But, yes you are right, it is disturbing!

Two your second Problem: It only "seems". I tried it on my W2000 witch has a
much better memory and CPU management than W95/98/Me and I have no Problems at
all with S5.
But there is another little disadvantage within S5. You cant play blitz games on
a fair way via Autoplayer because the S5-GUI is loosing time transfering the
data from the RS232 to the engine. E.g. at a average 5 min blitz with 60 moves I
have to play a 4 min for S5 and a 5 min for the other Program. Or in other
words: S5 is loosing at least 1 second per move. You cant play short time
controls. Of course this doesent matter on longer (eg. 30min up) time controls.

What OS are you using?

Bye Ingo

PS: After some Testing with this kind of connection i dont trust it very much.
It is better to use a dual or (much better) on two PC.
