Subject: Help -tablebase file corrupt - how do I fix?

Author: John Hatcher

By a tedious process of elimination, I've determined that one of my 5-piece
tablebase files has become corrupt. The file is "krpkr.nbb.emd" Don't know how
this happened; the "krpkr" set of files used to work just fine.

How do I verify the probelm, and can I fix it? I've downloaded the file
tbexe.zip (which contains the files: datacomp.exe, tbcmp.exe, tbgen.exe, and
tbstat.exe) However, there is no help file; no instructions on how to use these
programs.

By the way, I downloaded my 5-piece tablebase files from Bob Hyatt's site, so I
have no tablebase CD (otherwise, I'd just reinstall the file, obviously)

Thanks,
John
