Hi Fernando,

thanks for your nice words. I hope you will enjoy playing against Bringer,
however its style is more "traditional", not a Gambit Bringer yet :-)

Refering to your idea: asking money for Bringer: I think this won't work. There
are IMO only two possibilities. I could allow free download of Bringer and ask
for some voluntary money, if the user does like it; the shareware idea. I guess
that very few users would consider paying for programs that they can use for
free. Maybe I am too pessimistic, but I think it won't work. The other
possibility would be to sell Bringer CDs, I would have to worry about
production, advertising, shipping, invoicing, copy protection, etc. Since
Bringer can't compete with the commercial products, the price would have to be
way lower, the effort would be to high to justify the profit.

Anyway, if it were "only" about making money: the best thing to do would be
quitting chess programming and do something in real life :-) But, fortunately,
chess programming is fun, i will keep it.

Greetings,
Gerrit (not Gerry)
