For your strength I think it's easy to make a good recommendation .

Download the Genius 1.3 DEMO for your Palm . I tried it with my sisters who play
at similar strength and it will definitely be a real challenge and fun for you (
and it's FREE ..)

I'd estimate the Demo 1600-1700 ELO . After you have improved and get bored ,
purchase a license and play against it at full strength ( maybe 1800-1900 ELO ??
).
