Hi Paul.

I agree partly with you. CCC is sometimes not the best place for newcomers.
Espically newcomers with "thin skin"..For most part, people are gentle to
newcomers. But if the newcomer refuses to listen ,  eventually things will get
ugly. But if the newcomer is humble and willing to learn, I don't think there is
a problem.

I suspect part of the reason for the ocasional negative post, is because CCC is
inherently a hostile place. IMHO as a result of frequent flames and arguments,
some regulars are so used to a combative style of posting , they occasionally
can't restrain themselves from treating newcomers like another regular, and this
can lead to very "rude" postings.

It's just the way things are here. If you don't like it, you can leave. But if
you ask me, you should stick around..
