If we look at the facts forget all thse other titles you keep claiming Frank, Shredder only won one as a SMP machine. So, you have a program that should play after winning one 10 round or so tourney?. >I wish me we have a better compare but unfortunately we haven´t this. >Time for organize new tournaments, I say this all the years. >>Please note that I do NOT question the integrity of the person chosen to do the >>qualifying tournament (Enrique), and that I do NOT question the fact that these >>programs are very good. > >Yes I full agreed in this poinst. >The question is not Enrique, I think he make the best for all computer chess >fans. As I said above irrelevant only one of those was the current SMP version. And as stated at Millennium they won't pay the $5,000.00 nor not allow Stefan's participation, nor allow the three months alone with the program. That being the case why even think of Shredder. The humans have the ball, the computers and the one that want it. The humans will choose the terms of the match and Kramnik has nothing to gain by playing, much to lose by losing. So he will call the shots and if you can't meet his rules he won't play. Since as already noted Shredder will not meet the terms why not just forget Shredder and lets get on with the match. >I will here see not an other program. >This is for me the reward for the fantastic work from Stefan Meyer Kahlen. Reward for the single SMP title? what about the work of others Fritz has led the SSDF almost straight for three years. >>>All other opinions from other chess programmer to this case are own goals. >>>Sorry, but this is clear for me. > >>What is clear to me is that I was referring to the very funny texts you can read >>on the Millennium page. I think that says it all. >>What is not clear to me is how you can say things like "You can not beat >>Shredder in an official tourney". What are you trying to do with such a risky >>useless statement? >I have not see a tourney where Tiger make a better result compare to Shredder. >Sorry Christophe, we all know that your program is a monster and playing really >nice chess but this is for the moment not the question. If you have all the >titels what do you say in this point ? Lets face it, the only tourney your interested in is a World Title it don't matter to you have many personal tourneys Shredder loses in. Check Chris Taylors post here; http://www.icdchess.com/forums/1/message.shtml?163185 For some recent results. >I am World Champion of the latest years but I think we must play a qualification >tournament with Shredder, Fritz ... > >This is not the right way. In this case Shredder won't meet the conditions so what difference?. Sarah.
