Go up one level in this thread

After this wrong openings move was reported, I wanted to fix it in my CM8000.obk
file by using the book editor in the Library Room.

1. e4 c5
2. Nf3 Nc6
3. d4 cxd4
4. Nxd4 g6
5. Nc3 Bg7
6. Be3 Nf6
7. Nb3 a5
8. Bb5 d5

I wanted to replace 8...d5 with 8...0-0.

It is possible to delete 8...d5, which cures most of the problem, but I cannot
add 8...0-0. When I make the move at the board, the editor looses the line
(display windows are cleared), and nothing is added after 8.Bb5.

I saved the book after deleting 8...d5 and reloaded it, or closed the CM program
and restarted it, etc. This didn't help.

I think others have reported book editor problems after the 1.0.2. patch; I
don't know if it was this kind of problem or something else. Just wanted to
mention it.

Please tell me if I might have missed something when using the book editor...
the manual says nothing special about adding moves, just "make the move and save
the stuff" more or less. I'm not experienced in editing CM books.

Thanks,
M.Scheidl
