But I guess just becoming the challenger would be the holy grail for most professionals, since that would probably increase sales by a large amount, and raise the profile of the challenger in the minds of the general Public, after Deep Blue, Chessmaster and Fritz.. While I don't like the idea of the current qualification arrangements, I'll be happy with ANY Challenger since 1) I don't think any is much stronger than anyother. Even Shredder, which I must admit though is very consistent in real tournaments. 2) I don't have any interest in pushing for the increased profile of any of the programs.. Just looking forward to see how well the top chess programs handle Kramnik.. Aaron
