I didn't say at all that the idea of an event like this is disgusting. I also
agree that it is nice to see a strong computer play a match against Kramnik .

This event is obviously sponsored and organized by Braingames . The purpose as
advertised is to find out about the "true" Worldmaster : Human - Computer . If
it were just a match I wouldn't have objected to _any_ way of choosing the
opponent for Kramnik .

It seems Mr Irazoquoi and Mr Eklund were chosen as arbiters because of their big
experience with computerchess and their outstanding and well-deserved reputation
and did have some influence on the rules chosen .

Being experienced and well-respected doesn't make all of your decisions correct
though .

I simply object on arbiters that speak lowly of one of the possible contenders
though ( Mr Eklund's message ) and to the qualifying that was chosen .

Why is there a qualifying anyway ?

The only logical explanation is that this is to give the event an added value by
letting it look like the best computer program possible was chosen .

Now it seems Mr Irazoqui will hook up his autoplayers and let Fritz and Junior
play an autoplayer match . The winner gets Kramnik - I think this is completely
bogus .

I hope I have explained myself a little better in this message .
