Since good books for beginners in chess programming do not exist nowadays, I suggest that any retired talented chess programmer writes books. I am sure this will be a lot beneficial to any beginner in chess programming. Chess programming should be based on VC6++ MFC programming for it may be the most efficient programming, but it can be based on other programming languages as well. I hope some longtime chess programmers have considered it. It is worth a try. Eran
