Hi Frank,

There won't be a new WC to settle the issue of challenger. I doubt that the
"Qualification" (aka. ChessBase SMP Championship) will be cancelled or changed
just because the concept is moronic to the core. The secret nature of the
arrangement means that the decision was already made, before it was made public
here or at the Millennium site.

I was against the idea of Shredder being the automatic opponent. But given the
details presented here about the qualification, the idea is becoming more and
more appealing as time goes by.

BTW, do you know the wording of the invitation sent to Millennium?
