At 100+ ELO difference in playing strength, most programs have trouble to get the "perfect" 100% vs. a 400 ELO weaker opponent ... Also due to opening books ... Let's see, at first glance I have 86 games Fritz vs. various CST incarnations ... +44 =28 -9 for Fritz (72%) If you consider the fact that CST has an even bigger book than the optional Fritz' Powerbook, the draws could almost be accounted for by this "theoretical preparation" (since both programs don't have killer books but use essentially compiled huge database information for their repertoire, playing 30 moves from the book only to find themselves in a drawn position). Funny enough, Thorsten has those 86 games (the actual games, not just the results, I believe I sent him even more ...) since more than 6 months ... But he "doesn't believe these results" ... Keeps me rolling on the floor laughing ... Moritz
