How many times has a program got to play a match against the World Champion?

I like to think of myself as a reasonably positive person, but this thing just
smells too bad sorry.

Ah, this last paragraph explains your entire post Fernando! Of course this
whole thing isn't so important to you, but then you haven't spent many years,
many thousands of hours developing one of the best chess programs in the world.
You haven't made many personal sacrifices to develop this program, you haven't
invested your WHOLE CAREER in this pursuit!

Its all very well to overlook a little bit of injustice here or there as long as
you are happy. Try placing yourself in the position of Ed, or Christophe, or
Steffan and your views may change.
